More on the Patriot Act in the US Senate, and on the NYT report on Bush's 'Secret' Wiretaps

As we mentioned on Friday, December 16th, the wiretaps sanctioned by the Bush Administration are nothing new, and Congressmen and Senators have known about them for years.

Newsmax.com has also noted that "60 Minutes" already covered the Clinton Administration eavesdropping program, "Echelon", which has been conducting warrantless wiretaps for years. This does not excuse the Bush Administration, but indicts the leftist media very well.
